Lovely dancers " ...it's the one place I can be myself and yet no one looks at me funny because everybody else is doing stuff that's just as much fun."

" ...I come here and freak out and dance all over and everyone else is doing stuff that's as weird as what I am doing."

"I love BC [Body Choir] because I can really experience the present moment with all of these wonderful people that you get to know in a non-verbal and more interesting way."

"People in Body Choir are all ages, occupations, and in various states of stress or emotional resiliency. And from Day One they're like your soul mates and you understand and respect everyone in the dance."

Lovely dancers"Body Choir is where I can express the real me. I love the music, the people, and everything about the experience."

"My whole life has opened up to new creative possibilities... "

"I feel free to move in a way I don't feel in other places."

"Bodychoir has liberated me in many ways, including:

(1) The "make a connection" (deep and/or shallow) followed by "move on" and again, connect / disconnect, again and again has helped me to have confidence in the universe that if I find a good thing I don't have to cling to it or work to "keep" it because it will either "come around again" or "another good person/thing will come around to take it's place;" this lesson has brought much peace to my life.

(2) Letting go of my self-judgement so that I can dance like a freak has led to many things, including (a) less self-judgement in general; (b) less ungentle inner self-talk; [leading to] and (c) less judgement of others.

(3) It's an organic space, with many bodies moving all in their own subpatterns, so if you want to move geographically around the room, plotting a course does not work as well as letting go of planning in order to move around the room and respond to open spaces as they appear, which has led to a trust that being in the moment can work quite well. That practice has led to a habit of more often being in the moment, thus making the practice easier in everyday life."
